What is Speech & Language Stimulation?
Language stimulation is a set of techniques used by therapists to encourage a child’s language comprehension. With the right techniques, language stimulation helps a child to acquire and understand more words, speak longer phases, communicate with people and learn how to use language in a range of social circumstances.
Hanen Techniques
The ‘Hanen Approach’ was developed in 1975 by Ayala Hanen Manolson, a speech-language pathologist in Montreal, Canada. According to the methodology, children learn best in natural environments since it gives them the chance to interact with important people in their lives.
Here, we provide an occupational therapist that is certified in the Hanen Program to assist families in taking the lead in improving kids’ literacy, language, and social abilities. It is a technique for encouraging children’ natural curiosity in the context of daily activities.
