About EIP

What is EIP?

EIP also known as Early Intervention Programme is an personalised intervention plan that offers various early intervention services to children under the age of six who have been diagnosed with specific or general developmental delays.

An Early Intervention Program’s primary objective is to:

To support your child’s developmental needs and help you care for them, make a necessary and suitable intervention.

EIP combines therapeutic and educational support for your child’s entire growth and development in order to get them ready for preschool. EIP gives children who have not yet reached certain developmental milestones important foundational skills. Children with developmental delays can be helped to realise their full potential with early intervention.

Overview to enrol:

Before your child is enrolled in an Early Intervention Program, a multidisciplinary evaluation is conducted to ascertain their development state and level of functioning in order to provide a diagnosis. We use a combination of standardised instruments and techniques, including assessment with parents. Your child will be assessed in numerous areas of development: physical, communicative, cognitive, social-emotional and adaptive behaviours.
